Intervention Ministry

The Intervention Ministry at In His Steps, established in 1994, focuses on evangelizing and discipling incarcerated youth. Its primary goal is to help young people form a personal relationship with Christ and transform into better individuals. Over the past 25 years, the ministry has served youth in the Hinds, Rankin, and Yazoo county detention centers, providing Bible studies and follow-up support for converts. Hundreds of young men and women have encountered Christ through this ministry, leading to life-changing experiences.
Prevention Ministry

The Preventive Ministry employs a holistic strategy Spiritual, Physical, Academic, Social, and Emotional (S.P.A.S.E.) of ministering to the child in order to ensure their success. This ministry includes an afterschool, and Saturday morning reading program, and six-week summer enrichment.
Family Services

The Family Services provides Christ-centered ministries to families including individual counseling, workshops, annual conferences, retreats, and assistance with immediately felt needs. In addition, the “Adopt-A-Child” ministry is offered each year in December.
Compassionate Services

Compassionate Services brings short-term groups to serve the physical and spiritual needs of residents in Canton and surrounding communities. Its main focus is minor home repairs for elderly and disabled individuals. The groups come during the spring and summer months, and also help with sports camps, math camps, Vacation Bible School, and construction projects.
Sports Ministry

The Sports Ministry offers innovative evangelistic sports programs, individual and group mentoring, and weekly team devotionals for middle and high school athletes.
Camp Agape

The purpose of Camp Agape is to offer fun and engaging camp activities, to share Christ’s love, and help people grow in their relationship with Christ and others.
Agape Center for Relational Health

The purpose of the Agape Center for Relational Health is to train people biblically on how to represent Jesus well in human relationships.
